The Second International specialized exhibition "Automotive technologies and materials" - AT&M-2004 was held from 25 to 29 August, 2004 in Moscow on the venue of Expocentr, JSC in pavilion No.6 as an independent event, but within the frame of the 8-th Moscow International Motor Show - MIMS 2004.
Both exhibitions AT&M-2004 and MIMS 2004 have been organized by ASM HOLDING, OAO, an OICA and UFI Member, in partnership with ITE Group Plc. company, strongly supported by the Ministry of the industry and energy of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and assisted by Expocentr, JSC. Simultaneous organization of these events created additional favorable conditions for exhibitors and
visitors.
Ceremony of official opening of exhibitions АT&M-2004 and MIMS 2004 has taken place on 25 August, 2004 at 13.00 at a front entrance in pavilion
No. 1.
More than 60 exhibitors from, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries took part in this
event.
To enlarge the activities of AT&M-2004 the ASM-Holding, OAO organized the 2-d Congress of Technologists of Automotive Industry which was held on 27 August, 2004 at the Expocentr, JSC Congress
center.
The exhibition "Automotive Technologies and Materials" and the Congress of Technologists of Automotive Industry have been highly estimated by specialists as the events creating favorable conditions for the further development of investment processes in the field of technological re-equipment of automotive domestic industry and design and production of new models of motor
vehicles.
R&D of new high tech, competitive products, creation of highly efficient materials and technologies, perfection of structure of automotive manufacturing are becoming priority directions in the field of scientific and technical development of mechanical engineering and it's leading industry -motor vehicle
manufacturing.
The Second International specialized exhibition " Automotive technologies and materials "AT&M-2004" and the 2-d Congress of Technologists of Automotive Industry enabled specialists to learn and systematize the information on new domestic and foreign technologies and applied modern materials and manufacturing, helped to form complex conception on modern directions of development of automotive manufacturing, to adjust priorities of the Russian scientific and technical
policy.
Exhibitors and participants of the congress enjoyed a unique opportunity not only to get acquainted with the newest information on one of the most dynamically developing markets of automotive industry, but also to exchange experience and establish business contacts with potential
partners.
Among Russian enterprises and the organizations of motor industry and the allied industries which have taken part in the exhibition "AT&M-2004", we should mention NIITavoprom,JSC, Polycomplast, JSC,
Aileron Polyforms, JSC, ITC Technopolis, JSC, IKF "Solver", BASALT, JSC, DISTEC URAL, JSC,
ISKOZH, JSC, and others.
Belarus enterprises, such as Autohydraulic booster, RUPP, Belorussrezinotechnika, PLC, and others took an active part in the
exhibition.
Foreign countries were represented by a number of companies and firms specializing in automotive industry, including Tunkers Maschinenbau, Frankische Rohrwerke (Germany), KOMAX, Techmot, IDACO (Poland), and
others.
At their stands these companies and organizations demonstrated and offered a large amount of materials, equipment, tools, technologies and services for automotive
industry.
The Third International specialized exhibition "Automotive technologies and materials" - AT&M-2005 will be held from 24 to 28
August, 2005 in Moscow on the territory of Expocentr, JSC as an independent event but within the frame of 9-th Moscow international automobile exhibition - MIMS-2005.
