Successful product engineering becomes reality when innovative key competences are merged at the right moment. 2009, experts will meet at the specialist trade fair MATERIALICA, which will take place from October 13 through 15, 2009, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

MATERIALICA is the only event in Germany that has committed itself exclusively to the topic of material supply. The fair featured materials and components that are intended to conquer more markets and are suitable for use in other applications as well. The slogan 'Product Engineering in Motion' was chosen to emphasize that MATERIALICA and its exhibitors focus on industries 'on the move' such as automotive, aerospace, engineering, sports, energy technology and boatbuilding. To strengthen the individual topics of this trade fair, the umbrella brand MATERIALICA integrated four different sub-fairs: COMPOSITES, METAL LIGHT, CERAMICS and SURFACE. MATERIALICA presented itself 2008 with a record participation of 374 represented companies and a broad conference program that attracted over 7,000 international visitors to Munich.
