Zoltek leads the commercialization of carbon fiber as a low-cost high performance composite reinforcement used in everyday products. Our PANEX® 35 product is the lowest cost carbon fiber on the market, and we can guarantee supply availability with our ability to expand capacity in just 6 months. Our largest market is wind energy, where we have an 85% market share of carbon fiber in wind blades. Other key markets include offshore drilling, automotive, pressure vessels, infrastructure, & other industrial applications. We recently established Zoltek Automotive to assist automotive customers in composites analysis and design for manufacturability. Our value-added products include fabrics, prepregs, chopped/milled fibers, and our Entec Composites division specializes in automated processing equipment. We also produce an oxidized PAN fiber, PYRON®, which is used in flame and heat-resistant applications. This product is used in > 80% of all aircraft brakes.
