The 2nd edition of International
Specialized Exhibition Adhesives and Sealants was held
by Mir-Expo Exhibition Company on February 25-27, 2014 in
IEC Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia.
Adhesives and Sealants is the only
exhibition in Russia dedicated to innovations in the
industry of sealants and adhesive materials.
Among the exhibitors of Adhesives & Sealants -
2014 there are such companies as Kompozit JSC (Korolev,
Moscow Region, Russia), VitaReaktiv LLC, VitaHim Group (Dzerzhinsk,
Nizhny Novgorod Region, Russia), Scientific-Research
Institute of Polymers, Federal Unitary Enterprise (Dzerzhinsk,
Nizhny Novgorod Region, Russia), NORD LLC (Saint-Petersburg,
Russia), Scientific-Research Institute of synthetic rubber,
Federal Unitary Enterprise, NIISK FGUP (Saint-Petersburg,
Russia), Rusplast-M (Irkutsk, Russia), Tapeline Print
(Moscow, Russia), Sealing Materials Plant LLC (Dzerzhinsk,
Nizhny Novgorod Region, Russia), Minyarskiy Karyer LLC (Minyar,
Chelyabinsk Region, Russia) and many others.
At the Adhesives and Sealants - 2014 there
presented some brand new materials and products. Specialists
of Sealing Materials Plant LLC developed a radiation
shield materials application technology designed for
radioactivity protection means of staff, construction
buildings and facilities from nuclear radiation; for
protection medical and industrial equipment from high-level
radiation. This material is a composition on the basis of
polymer resin, filler, plasticizer and technical additives.
V.A.Kargin Polymer Research Institute
has developed the technology of preparation of foamed
polyimide material which has a unique spectrum of
temperature and strength properties exceeded the existing
foamed materials. It allows to be used in the production of
aircraft engine cowlings, helicopter blades, fuselage parts,
vessels hull, parts of complicated household appliances and
others.
The event was held concurrently with other
international industrial exhibitions:

Composite-Expo (The 7th International Specialized
Exhibition), which has attracted considerable attention
of experts, manufacturers and users of composite materials
and ready-made products for different spheres of industry.
Over 130 exhibitors from 18 countries (Austria,
Belarus Republic, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy,
Latvia, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Netherlands, People's Republic
of China, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United
Kingdom and USA) took part in the show. On February 25, 2014
in the frames of the business program of Composite-Expo the
7th Practical-Research Conference Current State and
Prospects of Development of Production and Use of Composite
Materials in Russia, organized by the Union of
Composites Manufacturers and the Mir-Expo Exhibition Company
was carried out.

Polyurethanex (The 6th International Specialized Exhibition),
the industrial platform for presentation of innovative
technologies and samples of ready-made polyurethane products
to professional visitors. Over 60 exhibitors from 15
countries (Austria, Belarus Republic, Germany, Italy,
Latvia, Hungary, Netherlands, People's Republic of China,
Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and USA,
Republic of Korea). About 30% of Polyurethanex exhibitors
offered their solutions in the sphere of adhesives and
sealants: Vladipur NVP LLC - polyurethane systems, polyester
polyols, glues, coatings, and sealants; Karat, building
production company ZAO - polyurethane resins, PPU,
single-component sealants; Huntsman presented polyurethane
additives, polyurethane foams and new generation adhesives;
Zelu Chemie GMBH - polyurethane foam- or casting systems,
industrial adhesives, etc.
According to the exhibitors’ reviews, the
consumer interest in products of this sector is steadily
increasing. This trend positively affects the number of
professional visitors.
During the three days more than 7000
specialists visited the exhibitions Adhesives and
Sealants-2014 , Composite-Expo 2014 and Polyurethanex -
2014, 90% of them are specialists of various industries:
construction, furniture, packaging, aerospace, space,
electronic, mechanical engineering, etc.
