Udmurt State University, the oldest
and the most prestigious educational institution in
Udmurt Republic, is a direct successor of Udmurt
State Pedagogical Institute, founded in 1931. For 75
years UdSPI-UdSU has had a long and difficult way,
its history is closely connected with development of
high education and also social, economical and
political processes in Russia.Educational and
research achievements let the university become a
member of various international organizations:
International association of universities,
Confederation european rectors, International
association of political sciences, International
associationof university rectors, International
confederation student' tourism 13 TC. Specialists of
UdSU are represented in editorial staff of
prestigious international scientific publications: 'Protection
of metalls', 'Surface', 'Linguistica Uralica' etc.
