The first international exhibition
"Adhesives & Sealants" was held by Mir-Expo Exhibition
Company on February 26-28, 2013 (Crocus Expo, Moscow).
The event was held concurrently with the other
international projects of Mir-Expo: Composite-Expo and
Polyurethanex exhibitions. Despite the fact that there was
the first edition of Adhesives & Sealants, this project
attracted the significant attention of the industry
specialists, manufactures and consumers of adhesive and
sealant materials.
There were well-known companies among the
exhibitors of Adhesive & Sealants: HOMA Group (Russia),
Kompozit JSC (Russia), Alpkim Kimya (Turkey), Silan JSC
(Russia), VitaHim Group of companies (Russia). The
exhibitors mentioned qualitative structure of visitors,
which took a great interest to the suggested products and
services. Adhesive mixtures, sealing materials, paint
systems, chemical raw materials for their production,
rubbers, resins, compounds and silicones were represented at
the exhibition.
VitaHim Group of companies originally
is specialized on distribution of chemical raw materials for
paint, rubber, PVC and polyurethane industries. Lately the
Company specializes in supplying of adhesives, glues,
sealants, compounds, resins, etc. The range of products
comprises more than 1000 items.
HOMA Group is a modern chemical holding
company, which includes: works for the production of polymer
dispersions, adhesive and paint systems for various
applications and research and development centers. This
company is one of the declared industry leaders and provides
solutions for different markets, including building and
construction, manufacture of paints, furniture, printing
industry, paper industry, etc.
Silan JSC is one of the oldest
silicones producers in Russia. At the moment the product
range numbers 150 categories, including: silicone adhesive
sealants, silicone rubbers, polymer compounds.
Kompozit JSC is engaged in research and technological works
pertaining in creating and complex researching of the
materials properties. At the Adhesives & Sealants exhibition
the company represented nonmetallic materials: polymeric
composites, sealants and mastics, adhesives-compounds,
impregnating compounds, heat-conductive adhesives,
conductive adhesives.
The combination of these three exhibitions at
the same place was admitted by exhibitors and visitors as
the positive feature of the event. A great part of the
participants of Polyurethanex exhibition offered products of
adhesive and sealant industry. For example, Zelu Chemie
(dispersive adhesives, hotmelts, solvent-based glues),
Huntsman (wide range of innovative adhesives), Ostec
(adhesives and sealants for surface assembling), Vladipur
NVP (polyurethane glues, coatings, sealants), Sirca
(adhesives).
According to the official exhibition audit,
the event was visited by more than 5000 specialists for
three working days. They are the representatives of building
and construction industry, furniture, electronic, aerospace,
engineering and other branches of industry.
Following the results of the first exhibition
Adhesives & Sealants, manufactures and retailers are
interested in developing of this project in Russia. It will
contribute to boost of the industry, creating of new
materials, which would meet the consumer’s demands.
The next edition of the Adhesives & Sealants exhibition
will be held on February 25-27, 2014 (Crocus Expo, Moscow,
Russia).
